“There have been many, many moments where I have felt that complete knowing — that deep, deep, inner knowing thatthis is the person that I wanted to share with, and create with,” King told PEOPLE of Urista in March 2021.
For King, there is “something so challenging” and “also so comforting” about being with her wife. “We’re constantly pushing buttons in service, one another’s personal growth and the growth of our relationship,” she said. “There’s no stagnation, there’s not one day that feels like the next to be honest. And that’s something that’s important to me.”
After celebrating five years together in 2020, King admitted that one of the things she loves most about her and Urista is “finding creative ways to celebrate” their life and love, as she wrote in anInstagram tributeto her then-girlfriend.

Ahead of the season premiere, Urista told her Instagram followers that she had auditioned for the competition, calling it “one of the most exciting things I’ve ever done!”
While she was eliminated from the show, Urista wrote on Instagram that she was “grateful” for the experience.

Urista’sMatrixfeature wasn’t the only time she’s crossed paths with Reeves. The singer also appeared inJohn Wick: Chapter 1,performing Joe Williams' “Evil Man Blues” with The Candy Shop Boys.
On Facebook, the performersharedthat she and The Candy Shop Boys lip-synced their version of the song for six hours.
She and King met in New York City

King was working at the nightclub The Box in New York City when she saw Urista for the first time, she toldPopSugar.
Unfortunately, Urista was in a relationship at the time, so nothing happened that night. However, the pair reconnected a year later, and despite King saying it had “never been on my radar” to fall in love with Urista, they began dating.

King announced on Sept. 21, 2020, that Urista had popped the question and the two were engaged.
King later shared onInstagramthat Urista wrote a song to propose to her and shared the accompanying music video, revealing that she cried in the moment.
She and King quietly got married

King also revealed that the pair had originally planned on having a larger wedding after the COVID-19 pandemic but decided their small ceremony was just enough. “We feel so fulfilled in our love story as it is. Maybe one day we will,” she wrote.
She and King became moms in 2022

King gave birth toher and Urista’s first childin 2022. The couple’s son, Lucien “Luz” Urista King, was born on Nov. 16, 2022. “He’s the happiest, sweetest, most delicious little boy. 😇 Thank you all for the love and support on this journey. We feel so loved and blessed,” King wrote on Instagram.
The fitness instructor announcedher pregnancyearlier that year during one of her Peloton classes. “Sophia and I are so excited to usher in this new energy, this new life into our home and become mothers,” she said. “My fertility journey was not easy. For the last year unbeknownst to you Peloton, you have been there for me in ways that are powerful and unspoken. So to all of my fertility warriors, I see you, I feel you, I love you.”
Less than a year after becoming parents,Urista gave birth to their second child. Their daughter, Afiza Maria Urista King, arrived on July 15, 2023, after more than 20 hours of labor. Weeks before Íza’s birth, Kingposted a videoof herself and herthen-pregnant wifedancing, writing: “@sophiaurista you’re glowing my love.”

King celebrated seven years with Urista in January 2022. In atributemarking their anniversary, the Peloton instructor sweetly wrote that her wife has “always made sense to me and for me,” adding, “You inspire me. You challenge me. And you bring music, art and joy to my life. Thank you seems like a silly thing to say on your anniversary, but I’m so profoundly grateful for you and our Love, so THANK YOU FOR EXISTING AND CHOOSING ME. I LOVE YOU.”
As for her part, King has been nothing but supportive of Urista and her music career. “I’m so proud of you babe and can’t wait to catch one of your shows! And I also can’t wait for you to come home,” King wrote under apicture of Urista performingin Europe.
