Although Beckinsale attended this week’s event on her own, she’s been seen twice this year with theSaturday Night Livestar, 25 — first, at aGolden Globes afterpartyin January, where one onlooker told PEOPLE the pair were seen cuddling. Then, in February, they werephotographed holding handsat one of Davidson’s stand up comedy shows.

Of course, Davidson wouldn’t be the first comedian Beckinsale has been linked to.
Beckinsale shares 20-year-old daughter Lily Mo Sheen with actorMichael Sheen, whom shedated for eight years.
Showing off her own sense of humor, Beckinsale has hilariously shut down her fair share of internet trolls who havecriticized her rumored romancewith Davidson.
After Beckinsale was spotted hitting it off with the comedian in January, one commenter wrote on a throwback photo of Beckinsale’s mother, actress Judy Loe, “Dear heavens, Kate. NotPete Davidson.”

In February, the actress also made a joke about Davidson when a fan mistook theSNLstar for the lateFreddie Mercury
“Trying to look like someone who was not wildly over excited about this picture or startled while planning a sneaky lick of Freddie’s eyeball,” Beckinsale captioned a shot of herself posing next to a photo of the singer.
“Is that a painting ofPete Davidson?” one commenter asked, to which Beckinsale jokingly responded, “GREAT EYE”

Although Davidson and Beckinsale were seen holding hands on Feb. 1, a source close to the actress previously told PEOPLE that her relationship with Davidson isnot likely to go any further.
“Kate’s not looking to get serious with someone,” the source said.

Davidson split from singerAriana Grandein October, and though the comedian hasadmitted to having a hard timein the months since, a source told PEOPLE late last year that he wasembracing his bachelorhood.
“He is very much enjoying being single as he is focusing on himself,” the source said in December.
