Barely a week after aToys “ R ” Us shop in Canadaleaked the possible macrocosm of the Ghostbusters Firehouse Headquarters , the actual set has formally been revealed by Lego itself via the company’sTwitterandFacebook accountsthis good morning .
It looks like Lego had some special fun with the raw set ’s reveal by photograph it in front of the now notable Hook & Ladder 8 firehouse in New York which served as Ghostbusters home office — at least for exterior shot — in the original movie .
Available starting in January ( sadly a month too later for Christmas ) the $ 350 , 4,634 - spell set fill two floors with a research lab , living quarters , the requisite trace containment unit , and nine Minifigs include Peter , Ray , Egon , Winston , Janine Melnitz , Dana Barrett , Louis Tully , the depository library ghost , and a zombi ghost number one wood .
Slimer is also here , included in a troika of non - Minifig ghost that can be mounted all over the edifice , and the entire construction open up for well-situated play accession . Other features of note let in the fire-eater ’s pole that Ray fall in love with , and if you face closely , there ’ even mood slime bubbling up through crack cocaine in the sidewalk .
