Man , I bet Syfy is bitter that AMC put on a zombie idiot box series before they did . zombi are Syfy ’s turf , after all . We ’ll see if Syfy ’s ezed land , due out in September , will make any kind of a gouge in the ratings juggernaut that is TWD , but since Z Nation is being made by the Asylum , I have my doubts .

About the only way I can see Z Nation pull round ( no wordplay ) is by maintain the ridiculousness most Asylum video film contain — e.g. Sharknado — while play it flat enough that it does n’t degenerate whole into a terrible takeoff . take the estimate of the Dawn of the Dead remaking ’s zombie baby and then having Lost ’s Harold Perrineau hunt it seems like a solid start .
speak of Perrineau , who stars in both this and Constantine afterward this fall , I ’d pretend he ’s parry his bets to see which show gets delete first , although both show survive and he has his preference , I imagine he ’ll blame Constantine over Z Nation .
