According toThe Guardian , the Danger Mouse series is pitch up for a full - fledged comeback , gross with new shiny novel secret broker gadgets and thingumabob . For example , the postal box HQ will be newly fit with all sorts of new technology ( here ’s hop they keep the deep-set sitting surface area ) . Other upgrades also let in DM ’s patch , which will be replaced with what the paper is calling an “ i - patch , ” and sounds dreadful , but fingers crossed .
The BBC will be producing the new series and has order up 52 new episodes . No word on what the official fresh looking will employ , but the original series make love to conflate and flirt various medium , so we would n’t be surprised if this series used a little CG here and there . But hopefully DM will remain his old , line - animate self .
