Now , in solemnization of that 25th anniversary , Warner Bros. Home Entertainment and DC are publish a brand new Blu - ray box solidifying of the complete series on October 12 . We ’re talking all 54 episode , new special feature , new commentaries , and more . Here ’s the full box art .

The audio frequency was retransferred from the original audio masters , and the series is presented in its original vista proportion ( 4×3 ) . ”

So that ’s great . There ’s also a brand new “ serial publication - defining featurette ” called Superman : Timeless Icon — which , according to the pressure release , “ let on the complicated journey of the show and those who create the new mythology for the Man of Steel , as assure by producers Bruce Timm and Paul Dini , manager Dan Riba , writer Bob Goodman , casting / duologue managing director Andrea Romano , and Tim Daly and Clancy Brown , the heralded voices of Superman and Lex Luthor , respectively . ”
