A desert made out of rice . Rice is the basic nutrition in most cultures . So abundant it could fill up up a desert . Yet again , hunger still remains . landscape a desert with some chocolate-brown Elmer Rice , paper glue and cardboard , and photograph it with a duet of made up lights take hold from a mike stand was definitely fun . My original architectural plan was to station fruit being fumble up by fire cracker . Unfortunately the fire snapper did not do my program justness . I enjoy cookies and milk , a lot — perhaps too much . And I know I ’m not the only one . After all , who can possibly resist the perfect dessert / drink combination that transcend both age and cultivation ? But as I easy plunge my preferent biscuit down into milk , an art that I ’ve honed to a meticulous skill , I ca n’t help but question if my crunchy friends feel the incisive bunco game of unfairness bring in upon by their tasty popularity . “ Good - adios , cruel world ! ” I take heed them say , just before I quiet them into complete , lactose submersion . Spaghetti Again??
In my photograph , a zombie child is feed on what is impersonate as handful of bowel and torso organs but is actually a full dinner - plate - amount of boil spaghetti noodles , uncooked ravioli , and a few drops of red food dyestuff to create a bloody appearance . The pic shoot occurred on a warm day in my backyard . I used a Nikon D300 and nothing but innate lighting . After the shoot I used Adobe Photoshop CS2 to reset the colors further , specifically the red in the intestines , to give it a more dramatic quality . All make - up was applied before the shoot , was not done in Photoshop . I am in High School and still learning all I can about my camera .

My first thought with this contest was to do a landscape painting . I was thinking great deal of fruit , knit of mac - n - Malva sylvestris … I determine to descale back and do a falls . circumstances of common , mushrooms- I figured I ’d use spaghetti for the twilight , then my don suggested Thai noodles because they ’re less yellow . I was stumped with the river for a while and considered abandon the idea- this was Sunday morning . I need my eight year sometime Logos what I should make and he squall “ pancakes ! ” , but he meant breakfast . I took it to mean the river floor . The ‘ sirup ’ beget thicker and thicker until it looked like manna from heaven , but I liked the gist . This was the last guessing of the shoot , one of the only vertical / portrayal takes . Thai rice noodles , white , crimini , and oyster mushrooms , fennel , thyme , parsley , Asparagus officinales , battercake , butter , CocaCola / corn amylum sirup - gravy , collard greens , Brassica oleracea italica , romanesco , sage , raspberries
